Yeah, the sun hardly cracks through the thick overcast. But it's mostly just brighter than usual, there's no sun rays I don't think.

So what's everyone thoughts on the Strange man?

Again like I said God imo, if your on about the quests they were fun just to have a choice, I wanted to see more of him imo.

Hmm, maybe it's just me then:
-Every time I finish shooting while using cover, Marston doesn't drop back behind cover. So I'm just standing there taking shots to the head until I disengage from cover and then go back in.
-I once walked into the Mexican capital's fortress thing, and every guard in the near vicinity began shooting at me for no reason.
-I've only been able to succesfully surrender to the police twice. Other times, I'll stand there with my gun put away and they'll continue to shoot at me.
-Cutscenes routinely play with only audio.
-After I finish missions, the game will freeze sometimes.
-Autosave doesn't actually save anything sometimes, so when the game freezes after missions, I have to go back to my last manual save.


And the final thing that pissed me off was when I whistled for my $750 horse and a stupid brown horse that I've never seen before showed up.

-The cover thing happens when you try and aim, in cover there is an auto aim system so when you pop out of cover you should be aiming at the guy already, anything else besides shooting takes you out of the cover system.

- Maybe you already had a bounty?

- I have to hope to make it close enough to a policeman before they shoot me and rapidly smash the button in hope of surrendering before death.

- With the horse, you sometimes have to go into the menu and reselect the horse you want form the ticket, with your save problems I can see you might have to do this every time.

Or it died, my kentucky sadler walked of a cliff while I was playing five finger fillet for the rebel outfit.

I think he means the tickets you can buy, of all the different mounts from the General Store. If you have say the Kentucky Saddler ticket, whenever you choose it, one will come when you whistle.

Well with the horse thing you have to use the ticket after it dies.

Racoons are everywhere evenn in armadilo. check the wiki for map eight.

Raccoons are all over that cabin in the mountains. The one Tanner's or whatever it's called. Not the one farthest up the river.

And Map 8 of the treasure maps? That's the tree nearest Breacher's Hope, that sort of looks cracked down the middle. The treasure should be near the rock wall there.

I'm aware of how the cover system is supposed to work. It's when I'm finished shooting and stop aiming that he just stands there.

You can just summon a new one with the deed, at least that's how the warhorse works, I've never bothered buying another one. It's died on me a few times when I was out hunting cougars and some ill-tempered bears, but I've always gotten it back.

EDIT: Oh yeah, can someone help me out with map #2? Or post a guide to the treasure maps?

The Bureau Outfit, isn't all it's cracked up to be... Just an FYI... at least for me it isn't. I got it, toyed around with it, but with the long hair, it just doesn't really work. I prefer to act like an undercover agent... sorta.

Has anyone had any funny glitches/physics/AI happen?

Once I was riding through mexico when I heard someone screaming from above, I looked up and saw a carriage flying/falling through the sky, horses and everything. Crashed into the desert with everybody dying.

I've had horses jump off cliffs and other stupid stuff xD

No you are not.That was one of the first Stranger quest I did.I felt exactly like John did, just back up slowing and act cool.

Yeah, but I kind of suspected something like that when I handed the guy the flowers and he offered me some tea or whatever. Just the way he acted. I personally would have blasted them both at the end, but couldn't. :sadvaultboy:

I am an evil bastard, on my evil play through. And it's just so hard NOT being evil, on my good play through either. I mean, I wear the bandanna, so my honor is no way effected.





EDIT: Also, something fun to try on MP. Get a friend or two, grab a stage coach, have one of said friends drive stage coach while the others sit inside the stage coach. The process from then on is simple. Find a cliff, race towards the cliff, and see who in the stage coach lives. (Obviously the driver will die, or maybe not, but I've found that the person (I've only done it with one friend) can actually die in the crash. Of course the horses will die too, so whatever. ) It's fun.
