So I think that Bethesda should give everyone who has bought the game a nice refund or work out a deal where we get 50 bucks to our steam accounts. I mean it' fair. They sold a finished product that wasn't actually finished and from what I'm seeing on a bunch of different forums almost everyone is having problems with this game. From crashes right when they start the game, corrupt save files, to not even being able to install the game even though their computer can handle it perfectly.

In my opinion they have 2 options, fix the game now, not in 2 weeks, or give everyone a refund, because I really don't want to spend 50 bucks on a game that I can get 75% of the way through then have to start over again, twice.

Anyone else with me on this???

This will not happen, and many people, including myself have been running the game fine. I am well over 33 hours in mine and havent crashed once due to the game.

I paid my $50 knowing I'd see all these issues. (I can still play the game though unlike some.) I do not want a refund. I just want Bethesda to start using a new engine for the next TES/Fallout game.

The worst problem I have encountered is the up to 30 second long freezes, that if left alone "fix" themselves and I continue gaming.

Funnily enough I was raging like mad as I had loads of issues with Fallout 3, I had similar issues with FNV too but since I started using that dx dll fix, all my problems have gone away, even the random crashing.

It would be nice if I didn't have to rely on some community fix for the game to work properly though, seeing the devs not release an official fix for the performance problem by now is showing signs of incompetence considering a single guy mostly fixed it within an hour, there's also the case of the broken upgraded models of the weathered pistol which they still haven't fixed.

I'll literally be close to laughing my ass off if the next patch to come still doesn't provide an official fix to the performance problem or fix the weathered pistol.

I'm not having trouble with lag or anything like that, I don't think I've hit a single lag spike. My problem is that I can't load any save files, when I click load it just goes to "FalloutNV has stopped working" and then the game shuts down. I've tried reinstalling multiple times, tried going with the back up saves the game automatically makes and none of it working. So I myself have a game I can play up to a certain random point then it stops working and I have to start completely over. So for me and quite a few other people from what I'm seeing on various forums, like I mentioned above, wasted 50 bucks. If Bethesda or whoever wants to fix the game then that would be great, I'd just really rather not wait 2 weeks of basically sitting on 50 dollars I can't do anything with.

Also quoted from a developer, about the insufficiency of the beta testing as ammunition for your return to the retailer. You can also look up or into the FTC (Federal Trade commission) I don't think though they will deal with individual reports. I am not saying for sure about any of this, you have to do the homework on this.

Just putting this up there for you, because I understand the frustration of buying something especially software, it doesn't work and your spending your own time, trying to figure out how or what is wrong. They are not scamming you or trying to take your money. This stuff happens, I encourage you to be patient. The game just came out last week.

or least the expansion for free when it comes out

Before I bought the game I knew there would be some bugs. I've read about them, seen videos about them, but luckily I haven't run into any bugs or games crashes due to the game yet. And they're already working on the problems, and have released 1 or 2 patches (I haven't noticed a new patch, but someone says that there is a new patch.)
