Can somebody tell me why so many people on here hate this NPC? Though six characters and around 500 hours, I've seldom run into him and when I do, he doesn't say anything particularly annoying.

No you can't even have a conversation with him, he just has a couple of lines of dialogue that he says as you pass.

Hes painfully annoying when trying to shop, he constantly walks past you while you shop and either strongly emphisizes that he works for belethor at the general goods store or tells you that you should go to the general goods store.....all while you are IN THE GENERAL GOODS STORE AND SHOPPING! On the playthroughs that I dont kill him I ocaisionally punch him every time he redundantly tells me to visit the shop while Im in it.

What's the problem, *all* NPCs say the same thing to you over and over and over. No-one complains when Ysolda says, "It's a fine day with you around", each time you go near.

He bothered me at first, but over time, I grew to accept that he's mentally challenged and very proud of his work. I ignore him now, since there's no way to interact with him other than violence, and I'm happy for him. If it happened more often, the Commander of the Whiterun Guard is more annoying. He should stop telling me he's the commander of the white run guard. "Yeah? Where the hell were you when the dragon attacked? Where were you during the battle? Useless putz, outta my way." Him I want to off.
