So the Dragon Stone displays the locations of the Dragon Shrines on the Mountain tops. Does anyone else wish you could drop it on the ground, and make a rubbing of it before you turned it in to the mage in Whiterun? I understand it not necessarily being an automatic option, but once you figure it out, it would be nice to be able to do something about it......

Yep.

I thought that was the location of the Dragon burial Mounds; not the shrines on the top of mountains.

Either would be valuable, and by the time I did the MQ up to Delphine, I had the Shrines cleared out, which is why I thought of the rubbing thing. It is a stone, and we do have access to paper and charcoal early, it seems to make sense, but is missing as an option....

I guess if it is the burial mounds, it's pointless, since you rarely get the opportunity to catch them coming back to life there.

From what you overhear Farengar and Delphine discussing, it's the same as the paper map she has later. Dragon burials.
