i thought the horse combat bug (where your character bugs into a standing like a plank on the sadle pose) was just because of the patch being beta when i tried it.. turns out it wasnt, it still happens -_-

That "bug" is happening because you're using an animation mod of some kind. None of those are compatible with 1.6 and are breaking mounted combat left and right. Unfortunately the specific directions for what you need to uninstall got lost when they closed the beta forum, but basically: uninstall any and all animation mods you have, completely (including lose files, so stuff in \Data Files\meshes\characters and anyplace else they may be lurking), and wait for an update to go with 1.6.

I just started to play again...

Due to my connection being slow at this hour, i am stuck not being able to play this game at all at the moment, I also hear that there is in fact a few bugs in this update, shouldn't a beta sort that out?

Sigh...Steam really needs a middleman to choosing if you want to update or not, their "do not update" command has been broken for a solid year, if not more.

I just jumped out of the game and Steam started downgrabbing the patch.

There's no need to close it. I got the update but for unknown reason it took half hour after I launched Steam to get it started. Anyway I have to say I'm a little disappointed on mounted combat. I can't understand why mounted damage is only half of normal damage you deal and why I can't shout when I'm on a horse?

I get the standing on horse bug only the first time a character mounts the horse, upon dismounting+remounting, that character has no problems from there on so for me it's not a significant problem :/

I've got 1.6, but it reset all my keyboard mapping to default, which confused the hell out of me.

Yeah that happened with the beta release as well. I thought sprint had broken, because I rebinded it to shift. :P
