I think the CK will be released on this date because it will build suspense.

It will keep us coming back for the next 11 months on a weekly basis. In Psychology this is called conditioning. The sense of disappointment and possible reward will create an emotional attachment to the CK kit. We will then keep returning also back to this site which will enhance sales as we will be more likely to be aware of future DLC and upcoming mods (if on PC).
