Removing temporary enchantment when spell expires

Post » Thu Jun 21, 2012 8:17 am

Was wondering if someone could help me out.

Basicaly I've made some spells that cast a temporary 'combat enchantment' on a drawn, unenchanted weapon.
Problem is, I've realised that the enchantment actualy doesn't fade when then spell expires. The only way to get rid of it is to sheathe the weapon.
I've thought of to possible solutions, but I have very little scripting knowledge to work out if it is possible..

The first (and most preferable) is that the enchantment gets removed when the spell expires.

The second possible solution is to reduce the casters max magicka by the spell cost untill the weapon is sheathed (or swapped) causing the enchantment to dissapear.

Anyone able to help me out with this?

Apparently not. Hmm. I guess you could mimic the trigger of the shethed and swapped effect, and have it trigger when the spell expires. Meaning, instead of manually needing to put away the weapon, the spell would -think- it happened after a certain amount of time.

However, I'm not sure if this can be used at all... But there is something that is triggered when you put away the sword. This something should be used when you create the spell, so that it happens at the end of the spell. But this is just an idea from someone who can't even use the CK himself, so it's most likely not going to be possible.
