Removing useless books

Hi, I'm trying to figure out a way to remove bought spell books from all sellers' inventories. To elaborate a little bit: If you buy a spell book from a vendor, he immediately restores his stock. At higher level, it becomes quite confusing for a young mage to actually remember which spells he already has and which spells are newly available. Since there is no spell delete and without using console commands it is more or less impossible to loose the learned spells, the spellbooks are sort of useless once purchased and they can diappear from the vendor's inventary without any possible harm. Does anyone here have an idea how something like this could be done?

Thanks.

You could have a quest script running that checks to see if the player has the spell. If they do, you script it to remove the Spell Tome in question from each merchant's (who sells the tome) chest.

Thanks, that sounds good. Do you have any idea what exactly would such a script look like? I have no idea how to script. Also, how performance-heavy would it be?

Scripts are far and wide beyond my ken, so basicly I was hoping that someone skilled could make the script for me, yes.
