Render Window > Mouse Movement Malfunction (Solved)

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 3:37 pm

While I've solved this issue I'm going to post about it anyway because;
A ) I don't know how it happened and it may be a bug
B ) In case anyone else has the same problem

I had been playing around with the CK for the last few days primarily playing around with item properties. I had come in recently to do some work in some world spaces and found that I was unable to move objects or the camera in the render window. I could select objects and move them with the keyboard, but I could not make the mouse do anything. I finally found out that you can right-click on the render window and open 'Render Window Properties". The first tab on this sheet holds the speed values for movement speeds and every one of them has been set to zero. It was a simple matter to put some numbers in there and make it work again, so problem solved.

The question remains as to how exactly all of these numbers got set to zero in the first place. As I mentioned above I had been doing work in the item properties (specifically; editing all of the level lists to allow any item to appears at level 1). While I had been doing this I was opening a great deal of item sheets and overtime they would stop opening. I would have to save my work and reload the CK and continue.

Anyway, this is all just info for anyone that needs it.

Here's an idea; How about waiting until I actually post something about a mod I'm planning to release before jumping to conclusions. To respond to your crazy assumptions; No, I do not plan on releasing any mod that does any such thing.
