It's hard to get stuff like this added officially due to licensing. If you want it, add it yourself with a mod. There's plenty of mods that add music tracks (even entire radio channels).

I think big names cost big money.

Plus I like the version they have better. It has better flow than Cash s style. Sounds like Cash did that when he was old. I could be wrong.

Cash s version sounds like it should be in the tops, but the radio is better with the one they got.


Again I think it would cost a lot of money for a Cash song.


They already said if they got 1 Elvis song that would be the only song they would have. lol

Licensed music especially from such a big name would quickly eat up the music budget with just 2 or 3 songs that why you almost always get some lesser know version of any particular song, better to have 6 good songs than 1 great it just makes more sense economically.

I'm a big Johnny Cash fan, but in this case, definitely not!!! I prefer the version we already have, not to mention that it won't happen anyway.

You can thank the RIAA lobby for the limitations of music we see in video games.

Just make a playlist/CD/whatever you kids do now a days, and play that... Its what I do. Besides the only radio station that has any zest to it has a limited range. I get tired of getting told over again that someone loves me...

It's probably because the radio just repeats the same 4 or 3 songs over and over again.

How come Rockstar can have 4-5 channels, each with 12-15 recent songs? San Andreas had Hank Sr and Johnny Cash on thier country channel.

Frankly, I think that the Johnny Cash version should be in FO3, just to match the mood there; post-apocalyptic. In New Vegas, they are rebuilding and doing it well, so the songs have a little more pep, which is why this version is in it. Personally I like Cash's version more because it was matches the feel of the ol' west. It wasn't happy back then. It was scary as [censored].

Just an afterthought, I would have really liked the final credits to have a faint song playing in the background, a darker song like Cash's version playing if you had bad karma overall and a brighter one if you had good karma.

Rockstar's development budget defies numeric expression. It is a complex, scary quantity which the accounting department keeps in three different books lest they unite and destroy the universe.

I'm sure that if it were up to them, "Ain't no Grave" would've practically been the theme song.

Not going to happen. But then, that's why Xbox's (and I assume) PS3's allow you to play music from your hardrive in-game.

If you offered to pay the roality fees I'm sure they'd be happy to add it.
