Replacing "Mingleplayer"

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 10:30 am

Here is a quick list of buzzwords I made with bastardized prefixes, the definition of the prefix used in parenthesis, and my interpretation of the new word's definition:

Interplayer (between, among): Mixes singleplayer, multiplayer, and cooperative play in any way.

Transplayer (across): Uses primarily one mode of play but crosses into elements of the others.

Omniplayer (all): Mixes all singleplayer, multiplayer, and cooperative play elements together.

Neoplayer (new): The mode of play creates a completely new archetype of game play.

Any of these could work in theory besides Neoplayer, but I left that in the poll because it sounds cool. Personally I would pick any of these over “Mingleplayer” any day, which sounds like some sort of yuppie cocktail party and not the descriptor for a gritty war game like Brink. Feel free to brainstorm and add your own ideas if you want. Cheers! :foodndrink:

This poll can await the "mingleplayer" thread reaching 200. At that point you can start another topic on it and make it a poll. m'kay?
