Problem
After using game and changing resolutions, then playing and after exiting game or getting failure to render error message.

Start game, go to options, change resolution to one you know your monitor can support and enable windowed mode, press play and start game. alt-tab or end game. Start game again disable windowed mode and play game.


Occurrence
First run auto resolution set.... I Installed New vegas on pc today 19:9 resolution, using my tv for monitor and played the game. exited game and changed back to my regular monitor a 16:10
1st Attempt Ran game, changed resolution in options then play game and received failure to render error message and game shut down.
2nd Attempt noticed resolution was still set to tv one, not the one i set before running game 2nd time to new 16:10 resolution. Tried set resolution again and play... failure to render.
3rd Started game, changed options to new 16:10, set to run in windows mode, clicked play ran game whohooo!!! work... but windowed.... exited game
4th Started game check resolution settings where still there, windowed mode selected. Turned off windowed mode, press play and game was up and running full screen.
