Restoration in Combat?

Can anyone use this effectively? I'm running up the stats in this category simply because I haven't ever done so. What I've been trying to do is run away from an opponent while casting fast healing, but most of the time it backfires because running in a dungeon almost always gets you stuck on something. You end up taking hit after hit from the boss or even lower level minions, which takes away health faster than you can restore it; so you end up in the reload screen.

The same goes with the ward spells (more or less).

I guess I'll just keep practicing at it until I figure something else out; or get some good advice.

What I do is use a stunning move (like a shield bash), or paralysis, or freezing with a shout, get back a little ways and heal, then move back in. If you're being swarmed, using a guardian scroll or something is a good way to keep a barrier going around you which also heals you. You can also just use good old fashion unrelenting force and knock back a crowd and grant yourself time.

Yeah the full power unrelenting shout is really good. Also another good idea is using a full power slow time shout, allowing you time to get back and heal, though it wouldn't be as effective if you are getting swarmed.
