So, I heard that FONV will be using Steamworks for its DRM instead of GFWL (Hallelujah if it's true!). Basically my question is this: is the PC retail version of the game going to use Steamworks (á la Modern Warfare 2), or is it just the Steam version? This is basically the only thing I'm stuck on as to which version to get. If Retail is going to use Steam, then I'll get retail. Otherwise, I'll be getting it on Steam I think.

Oh and please no "But Steam svcks!". I enjoy using Steam, I own a large library of games on Steam, I will continue using Steam. The question I'm asking is inly whether the game uses Steamworks, nothing else. Sorry if I come across as an asshat for saying that, but you can never be too careful these days, eh?

Yep, been confirmed for a couple of months that the retail version will use Steamworks. We Steam fans can rejoice.
