Does anyone know if theres any other place I can either get a refund for new vegas or swap it for fable 3? If not does anyone know if the Source requires a reciept to return a game? Its the xbox360 version

I cant wait anymore, while id love to play new vegas the patch is just taking to long, been waiting for about 2 weeks but im starting to get tired of flash games.

Any store will always require receipts when you return bought items. Since it's the console version, I'm sure there won't be a problem if you return it to the original store with the receipt. As long as the disc is intact and the box contains anything that came with the game. (Brink advert, manual, etc.)

If, for some reason, it doesn't work, you can try selling it on the web or at a pawn shop.

I would assume their working on a patch for the save game issues

You won't get much of anything for it. They'll have to mark it down to about 30 bucks or so in order to sell it, and they have operating costs and a profit margin to think about. They MIGHT give you 15 bucks if you're lucky.

IMO not worth it. You'll spend more in fuel driving down there than you will get. IF you absolutely must, sell it on eBay, you'll get a fair price for it that way.

it hasn't been 30 days, so if I can find the receipt (ps-if anyone see's a source new vegas reciept somewhere in china let me know) I should get a full refund

I tried to keep this thread to the point while trying to avoid bashing the game for its glitchyness, but god help me, if you don't Please continue, my good sir., im going to bash the game until your feeble minds can no longer take it.

Go ahead and sell it and expect a loss of $45. That's not going to be enough to cover Fable 3 and it's too late to get an exchange. (Which I'm baffled as to why you would want that awful game in the first place, in which case I would rather rent it).

This thread really needs to cool down - if someone wants to return a game and you don't want to help them there's no reason for you to reply to the thread.

When it comes to opened games stores can have pretty strict requirements for returns. However your best bet is to give the store itself a call to see what they can do for you.

But a fact it is not.
If it's anything like Fable II (Which I'm 83.6% sure of) then it's going to svck in my opinion.
Why?
Fable was one of the best games I've ever played.
It wasn't very deep and it's story isn't exactly going to make the Writers Guild go :drool: but it was a really fun game to play.
Fable II on the other hand was awful, removing magic, removing the chance to die, removing lots of spells, having a "one button" feature, lying and saying "Oh well the choices you make will have impact on the world", all of it, awful, just plain awful. But that's my opinion.
So will Fable III be able to live up to Fable? Never, not even close. It might be a step up from Fable II but still not even match the awesomeness of Fable.

I am sorry I do not understand what you are trying to say? You want to return the game? The only place where you can return the game is where you bought it from. So why would you be asking if you can get a refund else where? You may be able to exchange the game for Fable 3 at like a Flea Market or maybe go to Gamestop in the US, or EB games and get a $15-30 credit for the purchase maybe.

Also try out Microplay or other Gaming stores.

:fallout: Well i am sorry to say, FALLOUT NEW VEGAS is 100x better then your crappy fable game. The game works fine other than the every 4-6 hour freeze, but i guess since the xbox players made fun of ps3 players cause of the freezing problem, they have any worse problems.... KARMA.

Well hopefully they will make a patch for you... The game is 100x larger then fallout 3 IMO (and someone facts too).

If anything, Fable 3 is actually the worst in the series. Fable was good, Fable 2 was very underwhelming, and Fable 3 is just pathetic.

Besides, how in the hell is 2 weeks too long to wait for a patch? Have you never waited for a patch for a game before (it usually takes about a month or longer), or are you just really impatient?

I believe the self fix for now is just to save more often, that's what I heard but I'm on pc so I don't have to deal with that.

It's been my experience that opened, non-defective video games can't be returned regardless of how much time has passed (or not, as the case would be). They likely won't consider it defective - if the 360 can read the disc. You can probably sell it somewhere but you aren't going to get all your money back.

ill give my last reply since obviously your ignorance is beyond reason. I find no joy in holding onto a game that I cannot play unless I intend to do everything fallout offers in 1 sitting, fable 3 is great, and the fact you attempt to mock me, and the game, just shows so how caught up you are in your own head
