Because I've been out of the loop for a good month or so,and because there's been a kind of push-me, pull-you where the community fixes something, then Bethesda's official patch addresses the same issue thus making certain community fixes unecessary (or even worse, incompatible)...In an effort to consolidate my questions into one thread, which hopefully helps out other folks returning after a hiatus who aren't sure what tweaks still apply
Note that this is an AMD GPU so some things might not apply to NVIDIA GPUs?
1) Is it necessary/advisable to install RadeonPro to manage a Skyrim setting, now that the newest Catalyst and CAP drivers are out?
2) Do official Bethesda patches make it no longer necessary to disable V-sync, mouse acceleration, and mouse smoothing?
3) What graphics settings (such as anti-aliasing and antiostropic filtering, etc) are best handled by Skyrim menu settings, what are best handled by Catalyst settings, and what are best handled by CAP or other applciation (like RadeonPro) settings? One reason I ask is b/c the ingame text looks slightly distorted for me- grainy and slightly blurry, and I wonder if it's due to forcing some AA or something from Catalyst, instead of checking the "Application controlled" box.
4) What community registry tweaks are no longer necessary due to official patches, and what registry tweaks still are?
5) Is it enough to use Nexus Mod Manager to handle mods, or is BOSS and Wrye Bash advisable like they were for Oblivion?
