Riddle me this

My OP was locked, I guess because it had the same title. Moderators telling me I can't repost locked threads, but I didn't. I made the mistake of titling it the same, but read them both and the content is not the same at all. So without further ado....

I have contacted an administrator on this site, and I have spoke to Bethesda's technical support, both to no avail. I am a person who enjoys the gameplay and appreciate the new ideas you have put into this game. I find it refreshing in a market flooded with games like COD and Halo which don't require teamwork.

However, the technical issues bother me. I have posted time and time again that, the technical issues experienced are inconsistent for me and my gamer friends. I have now seen the game in person on multiple television sets, and the game looks different almost every time. Now, I know that different tvs will present things differently, but they will not render different images. At best, the color, brightness, shading, etc should be the only things that vary from set to set. The textures, smoothness of in-game environments, and so on should basically be the same. I have made the comparison as such, Brink on my television set looks like I'm using a low-end PC and have all of my graphic settings turned off or to the lowest settings. Brink on my friend's tv (which is 5 years older than mine) looks like it's being run on a high-end PC with all the settings maxed out. This confirms that my complaints are not a matter of subjectivity or opinion.

At this point I should let it be known, I'm playing this on XBOX360, I failed to mention that earlier.

I have received no explanation as to how this could be possible. I have tried all remedies, several times over. Below is a list of variables I have tried.

1 - Downloaded the 3MB patch
2 - Installed the game to my xbox HDD (this slightly improved texture load times but it's still bad.
3 - Originally had xbox running through HD Component Cables @ 720p, have since upgraded to HDMI on 1080p.
4 - Increased the in-game brightness, not brightness of my tv (this made is visually easier to look at but obviously made no graphical improvements)
5 - Changed a few settings on my tv such as Edge Smoothness, turned on Game Mode, made tv settings slightly brighter.

Maybe we were all wrong to expect to get what we were shown by the developers in their internet videos. Maybe they should have specified exactly what system/console those were running on. From what I gather, the PC version looks much better than the Xbox version. However, when I go to my buddy's house and see it played on his xbox, looking like those videos, I can wonder why this is not the case for me. My newer, more expensive tv should logically provide a better image than is good, but outdated tv. Haven't received an answer as to this inconsistency. The only thing I have yet to actually try is, playing my disc on another xbox to see if it's a faulty disc. But that's so unlikely. Nobody will give me any sort of advice or help. I have spent about 5 hours now tweaking my tv settings and my xbox video settings to no avail.

I want to support this game because I enjoy the gameplay. But I enjoyed the gameplay of Doom also, I don't play that game anymore because it's old, and visually not pleasing to me. With advancements in technology come higher expectations across the board. When a game is released nowadays, it's almost expected that it looks good visually. While the art style in Brink is great, I can't appreciate it if I can't make out what I'm looking at. I've seen how this game is supposed to look, and it doesn't look that way for me. What am I supposed to do?

Does anybody involved with Splash Damage, Bethesda, or just anybody out there with my issue, have any answers or advice for me? While I know no developer cares about one individual gamer like myself, the collective always being more important, I am beginning to lose faith with the lack of willingness to help me out. Wondering if I need to spend more of my money on a capture card to truly show comparisons of my friends tv with mine.

I may get suspended, but the moderator sent me the rules, and seeing as it looks like they didn't actually read the contents of my thread, just saw it was titled the same as the one they locked, this thread clearly does not cross any lines. It may refer to an OP, but try telling me I can't make a reference to something and I'll come knock on your door with a copy of the First Amendment.

This is really starting to remind me of TDU 2 which to this day still isn't fixed shame really because this is a good game but the visuals are awful, sort it out SD.

I just wish this game was better I'm going to re visit it in a couple months and see what they've done, this is the start of the death of COD i just hope more developers see that and start to be different.

That would be really nice... COD is so horrible... I hate that game but there are no other good games out in the markets and so you keep playing cod and that pis*** me off... Brink is a really innovative and complex game with nice gameplay and its not that normal ego shooter [censored]...
