Im having a real hard time finding good looking robes and i have found none hoods yet, anyone got tips on who sells it?

Executioner's hood - no enchantments. [Found on any three of the prisoners at the start of the Dark Brotherhood quest]
Vaermina Robes - no enchantments. [Found laying around the temple once you go back in time during the Waking Nightmare quest in Dawnstar]

I remember looting some hoods from fellgood keep. I think that is what it is called.
It was a Mage guild quest that lead me there.
Also sometimes they were not named 'hood', but it's still a hood. Weird.

I believe the Thalmor Embassy has wizards that have unenchanted hoods too. I might be wrong though and it would require a fight. You can pick the lock to the barracks and take out a wizard stealthily while he is sleeping without drawing attention.

Is that the one with the necromancers outside and inside? I looted a couple of hoods from cupboards.

As for the thalmor wizards, I was wrong about them. Their gear is enchanted.

Why they make it so hard to find no-armour unenchanted mage gear?

yeah, didnt find anything.

Well its not hard, its just hard getting something that look mageish, lol

You can find unenchanted versions of the Novice Robes. The masters at the College of Winterhold occasionally have a Mage Hood in stock, and Radient Raiments has a College Robe. There is currently no way to get unenchanted versions of the Apprentice, Adept, Expert, or Master robes/hoods.

No that's the College Robe at Radient Raiments in Solitude.
