Robot six!

This is on a forum for 13+ year olds irrespective of what the game rating is.

Shouldn't the 13+ be changed to 17+ for the Fallout section? I mean isn't it kinda odd, that a game intended for advlt audience has a board for non-advlts?

You mean new vegas?

Yes, but I was using 3 as an example.

And Rohugh, UnDeCaf's idea is pretty good, it would let us talk a bit more freely.

Actully, I don't think the ESRB actually plays the games they rate. The developer is just supposed to send in a video showing off all the graphic and mature content in the game. I think that's what caused the whole Oblivion re-rating controversy.

What was wrong with the elder scrolls iv's original content?

It was gorier than they originally thought, and then there were the Dark Brotherhood and the option for body mods on the PC.

"Fisto reporting for duty," says one willing robotic participant. "Please assume the position."

Sigged.

Why change the Fallout section? Virtually none of Bethesda's games are intended for kids, so either all the boards should be 17+ or remain 13+.

But the thing is that some of the fans to the series aren't old enough to buy the games themselves, but still have their parents buy them the games. It's not really fair to limit them from the boards but still allow them to play the game (not everyone wants to lie about their age) just so that we can swear on the forums. We can still pretty much get our point across and we have more than enough freedom, just the filters and the moderators keep out any swearing or advlt-oriented links and such.

Well that begs a question of why have an age limit of any kind and why apply it to the forum at all if it doesn't matter?

I don't care, to be frank, I just find the logic odd. If kids can get their parents buy the game, wouldn't they also grant access to the forum, even with advlt content on it?

What? Such high-minded games like Arcanum had jokes like this. Arcanum's was more horrible though, as it was a sheep...

I hope that we aren't able to contract a worm. We may need to counter with a Trojan.

God help us if we get Spyware... :lmao:

Ooh that's bahahad.

Think this might mean that computer hacking can be applied ~like say... making the robot psychotic, or dumping its memory to holo-tape as a form of information gathering?
(It'd be neat to have options to tinker with the AI if the PC has the science skills and/ or perks for it.)
