My current playthrough is with a sort of chaotic assassin type who just wants to manipulate people, cause chaos/anarchy, and pretty much take over all the while playing both sides, and making them hate each other as much as possible. Basically the type of character that would defeat both sides and then turn New Vegas into a big toll both for the heavily enraged NCR, and Legion who are so angry at each other they can care less about me winning.

For the assassination my plan was to stick with the Legion up until I could "accidentally" kill Caesar, then kill the president and make it look as "Legiony" as possible. Then I had a chat with Yes Man about it and he swayed me into his/house's way of thinking. So noiw I'm doing Arizona Killer with the Legion and I'm trying to think of the best way to disgrace/embarrass/enrage Kimbell, while also:
1: Making it look like the Legion is behind it
2: give the Legion a great big "F you"

Right now I'm thinking:
Shoot the private as he's receiving the award with the Trail Carbine I get off the NCR ranger in the tower that I assassinated with a machete.
Kimbell gets covered in the blood of an innocent NCR soldier (You just know that the NCR media back home is going to have a great time with that literal metaphor.)
Then I Immediately shoot the Legion spy that brought me here (further proof of their involvement and a believable course of action after a failed assassination attempt: "Oh crap, he's gonna get captured, better shot him!")
As soon as the president is clear set off the C4 I put in the private's helmet and silently escape.


This way Kimble lives to be blamed for the failure in New Vegas, and while he's still president he has a major grudge against the Legion..

Any thoughts on fun ways to go about the assassination, or anyone want to share their own roleplaying silliness?
