RPing as an outlaw

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 12:02 pm

I think it would be cool to roleplay an outlaw character (after you build him up a bit). Seems like with the mercenary mod, you could just hire a few, use the portable camping mod, etc and live outside of town as an outlaw, raiding towns, robbing, clearing forts/caves/etc.

I guess it would be difficult to do if you were wanted in every city, so maybe have one hold where you aren't wanted. It still seems like it might limit the game since so many quests are given inside the cities.

Anyone tried this?

I'm RP an outlaw based on Robin Hood. I'm not at the outlaw stage yet but it's getting pretty exciting, I'd recommend it.

I know, I am following your journal. Do you plan to avoid cities almost all the time down the road?

If you play on PC you can use the Alternate Start mod, where you can choose to be an outlaw from the start. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9557

Bit of an odd choice in name for someone who wants to roleplay an outlaw. Wasn't Baelor the most pious king in the Targaryen dynasty?

No, I plan to steal from the Jarl's. This will make sneaking though the cites all the more exciting.

I don't use this name on my characters.

If by pious you mean misguided, mad as a Targaryen, blinded by Faith, and prudish to the point of locking up his sister-wife and sisters in a tower because he couldn't control his own carnal thoughts; yes.

I hold the Faith of the Seven in very low regard, so "pious" would cover all that.
