Ruling New Vegas

Hello all, I am working on the Omertas quest line; I was able to meet with Caesar and double cross hime by using the chip for Mr. House. I want to side with "Yes Man"; at what point should I kill Mr. House? I have not taken the chip back to him yet. Can I do most of his quests and kill him toward the end? And is it wise to return to,Caesar and collect any reward before wiping out The Fort?
And can the slaves there be freed?
Thanx mucho, Robbie

When I did my "Yes Man' play through, when House asked me to off the BoS, I offed him instead. 'Yes Man' will have you perform most of the same activities as 'Mr. House' will, so I think you can kill House anytime before going past the point of no return.

Judging by what House wanted me to do before I reloaded a save, whacked him, and went to Yes Man, the quest objectives they have for you are the same. And yes, it would be wise to collect anything Caesar owes you before stomping out his troops.

I did that too...there was no way I was betraying my brothers to the likes of him. I unplugged him and left him in the cellar to consider the error of his ways all alone.

I feel like I cannot make the allies I want. I really would have loved to see the BOS and the Enclave (yes all 5 of them). I dislike some of the restrictions

I also wanted some kind of ultimate Peace playthrough but then I thought....."Would Hitler hug the Jews?" *

*Godwins law in effect

Though I do feel there should be a way to lock down all factions preventing their pointless wars(After all War led to Nuclear War not anything that the factions do specifically)

But War.... war never changes.

It is actually a bit silly to think one courier could bring absolute peace to all the factions of the Mohave. They've been fighting and hating each other to long. They are not suddenly going to realize that violence is not the way and become buddies. Just way to much blood has been spilled, and it's people's nature to be ambitious and want to be on top.

The quest will be added soon, It's bugged and so it doesn't activate from Bethesda press release:

War....War Changes?

  • Attend the Meeting of the leaders of all factions
  • Help the factions hand out aid to every wastelander
  • Listen to Caeser and help solve his depression...through caring
  • Attend the Star Wars esque peace party and play the bongos on the enclave helmets

Then you have to watch how all your good choices made everybody happy and somehow made radiation not a threat.
