Ive noticed on youtube alot of these kids running real fast in New Vegas, how is this possible?

How fast? In the unmodded game you go slower if you have a two handed weapon drawn. Could that be your problem?

I definitely am playing the unmodded version then, because, whether both hands are on a gun or not, the speed that varies isn't that drastic.

A lot of those YouTube videos are edited by their makers to compress time while they're running between locations. Why waste bandwidth and bore your viewers with long sequences of running across an empty desert?
