No Sanity (NS)

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 3:48 am

Wow, a lot to reply to here.

Main Character Class(s): Medic
Main Character Level: 15
Do you have a headset/mic?: Yes, TB X11s
Do you have a Xbox Live Gold Membership?: Yes
Your Gamertag: Vestic
How would you benefit the clan?: I'm a positive player, I don't talk trash, and I'm respectful.
What is your preference in body types?: Medium for right now
Why do you want to join NS?: I've wanted to join a clan to allow me a consistent source of playing time and a group looking to win but also have fun.

Gambit, you're in. I believe we're already friends on Xbox Live (xTsunami edge), or atleast I've requested to be friends. Welcome to No Sanity. I'll add you to the roster in a minute. Glad to see a fellow respectful player!

Just wanted to inform you that I am strictly an operative now on Brink, but have a low level soldier that i have been playing around with a little. Not so easy for points with soldiers when your used to getting +6000 as an operative. Well anyways, I will be awaiting tryouts and glad to be a part of the clan.

Thank you for the notice, making updates to your name in the roster.

Main Character Class(s): Operative
Main Character Level: 19
Do you have a headset/mic?: Yes
Do you have a Xbox Live Gold Membership?: Yes
Your Gamertag: zNENO
How would you benefit the clan?: (Completing Objectives. hacking the comm, and stoping mines and hacking turrets, and the enemy will always have to watch their back during the match, cause that is where i will be. The commands post will always be on our side. i will spend time making strats if there not a strat caller and people are just trying with skill you might fail sometime put if there is strat caller than the will win all the time. i use to be cal-main in CSS as a strat caller
What is your preference in body types?: Light
Why do you want to join NS?: I need a team that is down to practice and win. im looking to play hard and go pro. strat are what i do.

Neno, I appreciate your application, and you're in. We welcome you to No Sanity. But I also saw your small "argument" with smshbro, while you claim to be a very good player, it does not help you get in. People are generally accepted into NS, but they have to be proven, and if they fail, they're out permanently. It's not about what you say, it's about how you play. I mean all of this in the nicest way possible too. And if you're as good as you claim to be, we're glad to have you.

Main Character Class(s): Medic, Operative (can do engineer if need be)
Main Character Level: 15
Do you have a headset/mic?: Yes
Do you have a Xbox Live Gold Membership?: Yes
Your Gamertag: xelementx04
How would you benefit the clan?: Completing Objectives (if needed for engineer or operative), Health Buffs, Supporting (Reviving and such)
What is your preference in body types?: Medium
Why do you want to join NS?: I'd like to play with a group of people who seem to understand that Brink is a team-based game, not another CoD.

Thanks for the app. You're accepted into No Sanity, welcome to the clan. I'll add you to the roster in a minute!

Hey,
Main Character Class: Medic
Main Character Level: 20
Do you have a headset/mic?: Steelseries 4xb
Do you have a Xbox Live Gold Membership?: Ofc
Your Gamertag: PwR GaGa
How would you benefit the clan?: Buffing Health and the healing cloud grenade also a badass slayer in the game
What is your preference in body types?: Medium
Why do you want to join NS?: Well i used to play with NS on the battlefield series and it was an enjoyable experiance and wish to play a new genre with them

PwR, I've heard a little about another NS, and I would just like to inform you that this is not the same clan. I had no idea there was another clan already out there with the same name and I apologize for the inconvenience. Would you still like to join?

Gamertag: TellNoMore
Class: Engineer
Mic: Yes
Timezone: Eastern
Lvl: 15
Body Type: Medium
Skills:
mine
Medium Turret
Weapon Buff
Kevlar
Command post Upgrade

I would benefit this clan because i concentrate very heavily on the objective. I will buff everyones weapons and kevlar before taking care of myself. I will also run for the side objectives and make other possibilities instead of just going to a choke point. I think outside of the box, which is nessesary in brink.

Welcome to NS, you're in. I've added you to the clan roster.

One more thing, I was reading over the posts and noticed a post on recommendations on how to set up the squads in to timezone and other categories. This came to my attention as HighLandur and I know each other IRL and i thought i would inform you for future reference. Last, seeing how good this clan is doing already I think there could be the possibility to expand to other games. With the cutting of some people it opens up a door in a way because just because you don't have what it takes to be part of the Brink section doesn't mean your not good at other games. I can see if you overlook my comment but just thought i would suggest this, though i do realize it could be a hassle to set up other clan forums and organizing them as well. Well that is all for now, hope you get your xbox working soon and I'm looking forward to getting tested and hopefully becoming a true part of the NS clan.

Main Character Class(s): Operative

Main Character Level: 20

Do you have a headset/mic?: Yes

Do you have a Xbox Live Gold Membership?: Yes

Your Gamertag: HighSpeed101

How would you benefit the clan?: Completing Objectives, Supporting; my main Operative has max pts in Op and then some in Engineer to buff up the team

What is your preference in body types?: Light

Why do you want to join NS?: Besides a handful of IRL friends that play the game, Im looking for a group of guys/girls that like to play, and understand the concept of teamwork.

Additional Info is Optional:
Other Characters and their Classes?: ATM I have my Operative at lvl 20 and am currently working on maxing out my Medic. The Plan is to have a character specalized in each class.

Anything else you would like to add?: I am a FireFighter and our shifts are 24 hours on 48 hours off, so if matches/practices or anything were to fall on the same day as I am on shift there isnt much I can do about it. Other than that I can be on just about any time.

I was thinking along the same lines but i also think that we should get a strong holding on the current game this clan was intened for, create a strong front/bond, if you will, before expanding our reach to other games. I am a active Halo player and would like to see NS form onto that game as well but i think we need to focus on getting the clan actually started, I don't want to spread our resources to thin and everything just fall apart. But that is a great i dea and very do able once we get completly established.

Not trying to overstep boundries or undermine your authority Dice just boasting my opinion.

Fiction, I was already planning on basing squads on timezones, countries, etc., I've just been busy with other things in the clan lately, like organizing the forums, adding new features, etc., just know that I'm already planning that. And also, NS in other games is a no go, there's already a No Sanity clan on Battlefield, and I wasn't aware of this until a few days after I created NS for Brink when 2 people pointed it out to me. So for now, NS will remain a Brink only clan. I don't want to run around using someone else's clan name in other games besides Brink.

Cydionian, I regret to inform you that you are no longer a co-leader due to the No Insanity members feeling you don't deserve it without first working for it. I deeply apologize for the inconvenience, but you're going to have to prove yourself and they have convinced me not to just "hand it out to someone who just asked for it". Not to sound rude or anything.. You're still welcome to join NS, however, you're not guaranteed co-leader. You can get it within time, but it's just not guaranteed.

im not sure about joining anymore. i actually think its good that the others question my authority but i will assure you that i am skilled in leadership. this is your decision as a leader. plus i think this clan is getting a tad big.

I was thinking the same thing. I am remaining in the clan but it is quite large unless we break it up in to teams of 8 or 10 for squads due to the fact that some people will not always be able to make it which is unfortunate. Each team should possibly have 2 of each class and a few back ups maybe of the class of people who won't be able to make a true commitment. Though if you can't really make a commitment i don't think you should be here. Not to be mean or nothing I am just annunciating my perspective on things.

Main Character Class(s): Engineer, Medic
Main Character Level: 14
Do you have a headset/mic?: Yes
Do you have a Xbox Live Gold Membership?: Yes
Your Gamertag: Belkram
How would you benefit the clan?: Strong emphasis on completing objective, easily adapt to benefit the team (I hate when people cant play as a team.)
What is your preference in body types?: Light
Why do you want to join NS?: I'd like to play matches where people cooperate to win. Based on the clan description, this seems like a good fit.

Other Characters and their Classes?: A few random characters (lvl 5 and 8) No specific classes.
Anything else you would like to add?: Hope to make it.

Agreed the clan is getting quiet a few members but they still need to be tested and thats where they will get weeded out not everyone will actually make it into the clan they just have the right to be tested.

I am wondering some things aboot this clan. First off, do we have a class balance for the teams? Also, sceduled practices...? Plus, if you want 4 squads, each made up of 8, we will need 32 people, so we CANNOT weed anyone out.

Also, i feel kind of intimidated by the people that average 5K. I never get there because i always finnish the game right off the bat pretty much. Also, i always just defend an area (because i am an engineer)

On another note, i have some friends who are also really good at the game, but dont have a forum profile, so can i just invite them to the tryout?

Listen, everybody, I appreciate your feedback on the clan and your honesty.. but like Camaro said, not everyone is getting in, in fact, I doubt most of you are (I mean that with no disrespect), the clan is not getting big, it's actually not big enough. Like Camaro stated, people will be weeded out. It's harsh and strict, but it's necessary. I plan on making this clan succeed, and while I appreciate everyone's opinions and feedback on it, let me just state that it is not finished and there is still much to be done, more features to be added, so please be patient right now. Also, I will be posting a very important announcement in the "Announcements section", so please read before you sign up for NS for future reference, as I am indeed closing down Clan Sign-ups for the moment due to the complaints, they will be available later, so I will make a waiting list. Testing is also going to be scheduled soon. Thank you.

Main Character Class(s): Soldier/operative if needed
Main Character Level: 16 (was 19, reset skillpoints to experiment with other classes)
Do you have a headset/mic?: yes
Do you have a Xbox Live Gold Membership?: yes
Your Gamertag: XGC Idster (going to change it soon most likely)
How would you benefit the clan?: Enemy harassment, main slaying, i prioritize supplying ammo to anyone who needs it
What is your preference in body types?: Light
Why do you want to join NS?: Despite brink enforcing the "use teamwork or die in a fire" aspect, i find myself frustrated at random teammates and thier incompetance, win or lose, Playing as a team is much more fun and sociable.

Additional Info is Optional:
Anything else you would like to add?: I once ate a turkey burger, it tasted horrible
