Yesterday, one of my two RAID drives crashed which happened to have all my games on it. So, I had to reinstall everything. I finish downloading New Vegas from Steam (I have no DLC) and I still had all my mods that I was using on another drive so I reinstalled them and got the load order the same from looking at my savegame in the Fallout Mod Manager. I have all the same mods, and tried both alpha/stable versions of NVSE. However loading any of my save games results in an immediate game crash. It doesn't say anything about missing files on load. I can't figure out why this is happening. I did notice that before my drive crashed that when I clicked "Load NVSE" in the Fallout Mod Manager it would say in the Steam box "Preparing to launch Fallout: New Vegas" and then open the game's launcher, then I'd click play. Now when I clicked Load NVSE it just immediately launches the game.
Can anyone help me out or can help me find a way to determinate what in the save game is causing the crash. I can start a new game without issue, but I am sure you can imagine how unappealing that is at this point.. Thanks for your time!
EDIT: I discovered the problem, while I did install all the right mods one of them has in game settings that I had changed from default. Apparently reinstalling it again and loading the game with those settings now at default caused it.
