So i was pretty far into my game and i had exited out to go eat lunch, I come back to find that my game is now reverted back to when the doctor first sees me.

I was told there was an update to fix this, where is this update?


BTW why oh why are we using steam and WHY do we have to?

I have disabled the steam cloud and it still does this issue. Is there anyway to play this game without using steam?

edited to add: Even tried running steam in offline mode.

I had that happen its just the quick save getting icky.. press the load button and manualy load your last manual save. And dont use autosave or quick save... or at least dont depend on them.

I just logged hours of game time while using ONLY manual saves, all the way from the Bison Steve in Primm to Novak, and I had just gotten inside the missle test site. ONLY MANUAL SAVES, at least 10 of them, and now everything is gone. All of it, it's like nothing ever happened. FU steam.

According to some threads in the bug forum (which is where you should be posting this anyway) and other places, the saves don't get deleted, they just get renamed and thus don't show up. You should be able to rename them and get them back. So don't panic.
