This is probably rediculous, but I wasn't able to find the save game folder... i went into steadapps>common>Skyrim and searched "save" but nothing came up
help?

Hit start (or pause) and go to "System"
You'll find the folders there

EDIT: My mistake, you mean the folders on your computer, outside of the game. Sorry. Least you got a little bump from me.

In your Libraries/Documents folder, under My Games.
