Well my Hard Drive was crashing so I Installed a new one and transferred all my files etc. I reinstalled New Vegas and went to the backup and restoration dropdown on the steam page. I clicked on Restore and it opened a box giving me the option to browse my files...which I did and tried to click on my saves and it did not work...I tried it on anything New Vegas or Steam related with no luck...it just keeps saying system updates none and I am unable to continue....what am I doing wrong??? I really don't want to lose 80 hours of New Vegas :brokencomputer:

You can just restore your saves manually. Im not sure about the above procedure. Find where you backed up your saves and simply just drag and drop them into the saved game folder.

C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV <= saved game folder

If the folder doesnt exist you will have to run the game once then exit.
