This all began occurring after the update. Now thanks to it I'm missing my saves (I'm all the way back to level 3) and now when I start the launcher most of the time it says it "crashes". I want a fix for the save games first and then I want this update destroyed. Thanks a lot to whoever made this idiotic update, I just lost tons of playtime because of you.

Are you losing manual saves?

I haven't done any manual ones, just quick saves and auto saves is all I have.

I don't think I've lost any saves, but the game is reliably and consistantly crashing about every half hour now. Before the patch I had a six hour marathon of smooth gameplay only interrupted by pee breaks.

steam cloud is broken, with this game ATM. Its now uploading the save files to steam, so when u leave the game , steam automatically copies the old saves over your new ones. What you need to do , until this is fixed is just use manual saves. What i have been doing and have 0 problems with saves since. Pre and post patch/.

Not having too much crashing (once so far), but I did start getting the quick/autosave bug last night just before the patch was released (no problem the day before).

I like the quick and autosaves. Sometimes I get so immersed in what I'm doing, I forget to make a save. I've relied on there being a good autosave present.

My workaround for this was to delete everything in / Steam / userdata / ##### / ###### folder and then set permissions on that now empty folder to deny all write access for every user. You can edit those settings by right clicking and going to properties and then the Security tab.

Steam will attempt to sync with the cloud but never be able to actually write the bad data to this folder. The game is forced into using my good local files.

I have lost both my auto save and manual saves. I was level 10 and now i'm level 2. I want a fix or my money back. I will not continue playing this game after this. The time I did play this game was very enjoyable, but I can't trust that my progress will ever be saved.

I haven't had any crashes yet at all, except for one game freeze in Freeside and some missing autosaves and quick saves, thats easily fixed by doing manual saves.
