This morning, I turned on Skyrim, and hit continue. The loading screen appeared (image and text), but after the loading screen the screen goes black. I can hear the sounds of where the sae is. I tried loading different saves, and this happened. I am able to create a new save, though. Why is this happening, and is there a fix? I don't really feel like playing through everything again. Also, there was a big thunderstorm last night, would that have anything to do wih it? I am on Xbox.

Have you tried fast travelling to anywhere else?

I loaded a save from a few minutes earlier, outside the sanctuary. That save worked.
