My computer has a 1336x768 maximum resolution. I can only run Skyrim in 1024x768 and 800x600, can someone help me. It only happened recently when I connected my laptop to my tv via HDMI, now every game I play only has 1024x768, and it looks really small on the screen.

Each device has its own resolution. So when connected to your tv, right click desktop and select screen resolution. Change it from there.
