Scripting Animations.

I'm trying to find a reference for a starting point on scripting animations into spell effects. For instance with one spell I'd like to try to find a way to cause the spell target to stagger at random times and cough up blood if that was at all possible

For another I just want a simple animation to play upon summoning a mob. Though it would be really great if I could find a way to play an animation like turning to dust in reverse and form the mob from the dust instead of disintegrating it.

All this I assume I can do within the ActiveMagicEffects script where I would like to do it. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it!
