Secret chest in Markath : V

Hi everyone!

I found a secret chest in the Khajiit camp outside of Markath.

It's located behind a small semi-ruined wall, really close to the camp, and to the farest sleep roll.

It would be really nice if someone could please go and confirm this.

it's directly connected to the items the Khajiit has.

You may have found another vendor chest, like the one in Dawnstar.

It's more exciting than the treasure maps. But honestly I take a few items and put nice stuff inside to please them. Like that I'm not really stealing. :biggrin:

I'll have to check this out. I've never found the one allegedly in Dawnstar, but that may be due to poor directions, lol. And anyway, I can buy anything and everything I want, and my Khajiit vendors are open all night, which I appreciate. Soon I'll complete an arrangement with the TG so they'll be able to buy ill-gotten booty, in addition to having more gold.

I'll have to look into that....I found the one in Dawnstar and the one under Whiterun with some youtube help. However, I was back in Dawnstar recently and decided to see if there was anything useful in the chest and it was GONE! Any idea why it would disappear??

I assume this chest was invisible like the one in Dawnstar?

edit- found a video, it is invisible like Dawnstar chest.

The chest is here only when the caravan arrives. When the caravan leaves it takes the chest with it... So wait until it comes back..

That's what I had read, however the caravan was NOT in Dawnstar the first time I found it. I had also read that you needed to talk to the Caravan in Dawnstar before it would appear but I never did that either. Seems pretty random (in my game at least)???

The caravan was not in Dawnstar either time I have been to that chest as well. Where is the chest in Whiterun?

Yes, quite funny. Anyway after it disappeared in Dawnstar I waited for another day or 2 and when I returned it was there. If I have time, I'll make a few checkings about those chests.

The one in Whiterun is UNDER the city. Search it on youtube to find it.

Getting to it may be dependent on race. With a Nord and Orc, I was too tall to squeeze through the gap by the front gate. I tried for about 10 min.
