I see no 1.5 kill cams

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 6:16 am

Are they supposed to happen on every ranged kill or only occasionally? I have seen none. I did have a 'rude' npc animation mod installed which I have since removed to see if it conflicted with 1.5 but still got no cams.

It isn't supposed to happen often, and took me a while before I saw one.

There is a setting in the CK to increase the chances of getting one if you fancy modding it.

It's random and will only happen when you kill the last enemy (a.k.a. last red dot on your radar).

Actually that's not entirely true, I've had it happen on the penultimate enemy before now.
(Which was cool, btw).

It svcks that 1.5 breaks the mods that allow killcams whenever the requirements are met, excluding last enemy. :(

I'm sure said mods can/will be updated :)

I read that it will require an updated CK, with all the extra killmoves in it.
Waiting game commences.

It seems a bit strange that you would expect an official patch to take into account various difference mods, and feel hard done by when those mods no longer work properly - it's not Bethesda's responsibility to make sure the mods work, neither should they be considered at fault if they don't.
You count yourself lucky that there is as much freedom as there is to mod game anyway.
I'm sure the mod/s in question will be fixed soon enough...

Well done, your entire post was not how I felt.

I KNOW that Beth don't care for breaking mods, why should they, the mods follow Beth's work, obviously not the other way around.
I'm kind of insulted by your post, essentially making me out to be stupid, well, I'm not. I'm sorry if a few light hearted posts bring that side of you out.

I was merely making a statement, "it svcks that..." not "OMG Beth WHY YOU BREAK MY MODS"

There is a difference, in future please note that.

Edit: As for my next post "updated CK needed", that's a factual statement, I can't make it out to be anything else. It doesn't mean I am bitter about it, it just means a little wait, which I do not mind in the slightest, I strongly believe in "everything happens for a reason" and "good things come to those who wait".

Meh.

Mature. In future, don't even bother posting if all you are going to say is "Meh." Get over yourself.

As far as I see it, you posted "Meh." instead of "Sorry, I misunderstood your postings", which would have been met with a "No worries, it happens from time to time, we all make mistakes".

I would have done, except I didn't feel that I did. You feel that I did.
So "Meh" - it's just not worth continuing down that road.
Anyway I don't want to drag this thread off topic any more than it is already.

Agree to disagree?
That's the end of it. :)
