So, I got the recipe for .44 semi wadcutters from this Jules dude in North Vegas. But when I go to a reloading bench, there is no option for me to make them. Is this bugged, or are some of my skills too small for it to show up? I can make magnum rounds and the like for shotguns, but not this recipe I just got?

You need 50 Repair to make .44 Magnum Rounds at the Reloading Bench.

No, I know that. I can already make .44 magnum loads, I'm talking about the .44 handloads. It's an ammo subtype of .44, the semi wadcutter.

Okay, I assumed they were the same. The strategy guide only lists .44 Magnum Rounds, so I have no idea how to make the wadcutters. The wiki doesn't have much info on them either.

The strategy guide does list .45-70 Gov't SWC Hand Loads that can be made with 90 Repair. Maybe the .44 SWC Hand Loads have the same requirement.

I just unlocked the .44 Semi Wadcutters

You have to acquire the schematics from Jules (wearing Merc-Adventurer outfit, w/.44 Mag equipped) in North Vegas Square, in order to do that you need high "guns" and "survival" skill points (60 or above, can't remember) and talk to him using the proper speech commands.

Once you acquire the schematics for the wad cutters you need to have 75 repair points in order to make the bullets, they are the same exact recipe for normal .44 Magnum rounds except that it requires 2 more lead and 2 more powders than the standard .44 magnum round.

You can just break down .44 Magnum rounds and remake them as .44 semi wad cutters.

Stats for the bullets

Damage X1.25 (thats .50 less than Hollow Points)
Target Damage Threshold -6.00

Find any other schematics? I broke into gun runners to see if they had some but no luck.

Nah, thats the only one I found. All the other recipes I have are unlocked with the "Hand loader" perk.
