No-one whines about master being too difficult, if anything they whine about the game being to easy.

you'll be surprised how many babies i find around the forum people themselves complain its easy because they're not brainless but i made these mainly for my friends and i who enjoy this, the little kids on live who can't pick a race without a helping hand and any fans of the game or people who were thinking about the game

I'm pretty sure everyone can play on master, tried it myself, what i am also pretty sure is that not all of us are psychopaths that have something to prove in a single player open world rpg. You play the way its entertaining for yourself, anyone else's opinion have ZERO relevance on how you enjoy your game.

that being said, there is no excuse for whining, as the difficulty slider is pretty easy to find, and if you can't find it you shouldn't operate a computer/console in the first place

I hate when someone (Generally younger) asks me "What is the best race!?" "What is the best weapon!?" "What is the best class!?"

Master is not impossible. My boyfriend plays Master, and he's doing brilliant!
But it is impossible on Master for me, as Skyrim is the first RPG I've ever played :)

Master isn't the way to play Skyrim. You can play it in any difficulty you want and it doesn't prove anything anyways. It's not like there's a reward or anything. There's no trophy/achievement for it also .. so .. yeah.

And yes it's not impossible also. With a little exploit's here and there. And your good to go.

plus, one of the biggest benefits i find with master is that i now have a larger window before i become all-powerful.

this actually allows me to use a variety of skills and methods to get through a battle.

Master is impossible.

Impossibly easy that is. Even without exploits. Sure, early on there's some enemies that can serve your ass back to you on a platter (Especially if you're a straight-up warrior), but that makes it feel more like Morrowind. Where if you went inside most caves at level1, the non scaled NPC's would turn you inside out with one warhammer strike. Master makes Hirelings a lot more useful too, which I like.

because i do not have fun when i kick everythings butt. it's a challenge. i get to take advantage of a lot more that the game has to offer. the story, quests, loot and exploration and combat aren't that well done and this improves it.

edit: that's my quick retort, lol.

Who ever said Master is Impossible?
I tried Master with Hud Opacity all the way down (Console)
but I became a noob for awhile and put it back on Expert with No Hud.
That's how I normally play :|

as many have found out: playing on expert then moving up to master with the hud off/low and no music is quite a challenge and a blast. and, it's kept me from shelving the game completely.

that, and the greatness of DiD playthroughs!

I have always been playing on Master. I recently made my new Nord Warrior to complete the Main Quest. He only focuses on One-handed, Block and Light Armour. No Potions, Magic, Enchanting/wearing Enchanted gear, Alchemy, or Ranged attacks. I only use gear that I have found. I do use shouts as I'm playing him as the Dovahkiin and doing the main quest just so it fits in. I've never tried shouts on my other characters so it's my first time and it's fun blowing things away and off of cliffs.

The only problem I'm having on Master is that I'm getting bored of fighting. Every enemy is taking like 20-50 hits each to kill and I'm starting to find it more tedious than challenging. At first when I started I would die by anything in 1-3 hits, an arrow would kill me in one hit along with some Destruction spells. And I would take forever to kill something. At first it was fun as I found it challenging but as I got higher the enemies got more health but didn't get harder. I'm still dying in a few hits but now I'm taking three times longer to kill something. I was recently fighting a Thalmor Agent and I was slashing away for so long just to kill one. When I went into a place with 3 of them it wasn't any harder as I was good at dodging and hitting and I could shield bash or knock them down.

Now that I have learnt how to dodge attacks and such I rarely get hit, but it's becoming a chore to kill something not a challenge. A Dragon hits quite hard with the AoE stomp and I do little damage to it, which I actually enjoy as it's supposed to be a tough Dragon (It's annoying waiting for it to land because they seem to be airbone all the time and I cannot hit it, when it does land I get 5-10 slashes before it takes off and I'm left waiting again).

I guess you can blame me for being so weak damage-wise because I don't use enchanted gear, potions, or any ways to increase my damage output.

i posted a link to game faq's and I never said it is impossible the kids and my friends say its no fun and boring well i have fun and why would you play on the easiest difficulty and just slaughter things?

Play dark souls, DS and demon souls are my favourite games because of the challenge
