I got hit with a pretty bad glitch here that I have been unable to rectify.

When playing through the college of winterhold questline, I completed the Revealing the Unseen quest where the Archmage is killed. However for me the next quest (Contagion I believe) does not start and I am stuck with a dead archmage outside that nobody seems to notice. This ends the questline as I have no way of activating the next quest. I have tried reloading previous saves and recompleting the unseen quest to no avail.

Has anyone else had this glitch? I tried searching for it on the forums but didn't see anyone mention it.

The next quest is containment, not contagion. I cant believe nobody else has had this glitch, I have seen various other posts about it on the internet, should i assume the lack of response is nobody has figured this out?

Same here. Arch Mage is dead but the NPC are acting as if nothing happen. Trofildir won't give me the containment quest. Any idea how to unglitch?

I went through the whole College of Winterhold quests without hiccup. Sorry you are having this problem.

Same issue for me. I turn in the previous quest but does not trigger the containment quest. Playing on the 360.
