No. Maybe I should be more specific.
In Render Window when double clicking a reference you will get a window to edit the reference's properties.
One of the tabs you can cycle through by using the small arrows ist the "enable parent" tab.
Here you can kind of "link" a reference to another one in terms of enabled/ disabled status.
So when the parent refrence will be disabled (i.e. by script) all children als well will be disabled and vice versa.
This function is used for decorating the houses for example. So only one parent reference has to be enabled and all the interior appears.
Its roughly 10 klicks to assign an "enable parent". If you would have to repeat the process for almost all items in a palyer house it may possibly drive you mad, awaking at night or klicking a virtual mouse in your sleep.
So I suspect that there is a way to assign an enable parent to multiple references in one step, in a kind of bulk processing.
Simply selecting more than one reference does not work, as the preference window is only for a single object.
If there was a way to copy selections (of multiple objects) and pasting them without them losing their enable parents, i.e. by pressing an additional key, it would be sufficient as well.
