Set items in place permanently

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 1:30 pm

So i just bought the proudspire manor in solitude and i was decorating it with all my weapons, gear etc. But i also have alot of cool misc item's like right & left eye of falmer, statue's soul gems etc for decorating. But i noticed when i put them in my desired locations they would fall down or disappear. So i was wondering, is there any "item stay there permanent" script i can use so stuff i put down stays there ? Thanks for any helpful answers ! : )

Someone (Vermilion Sparrow maybe?) posted a very detailed explication of how to do this.... I'll see if I can find it for you in case your search function doesn't work.

thanks but that just tells me how to move it, not to make it stay put. Or will it stay put after i use one of those commands ?

I thought he indicated that it would "generally" remain in place. Hmm. That might have been in another post. You could search for his posts, see what he said.... I'm personally not into "decorating"....

Drop the items, exit the house. Fast travel away, come back, enter the house. Arrange the dropped items, they will then stay put.

Yes, if you use those console commands to place items, they will stay put.

It's the only way I could get some stuff not to move every time I entered my house.

Oh, and not that it matters much on the internet, but I'm female :)
