Set an object reference not to cast shadows?

The Creation Kit wiki says that it should be possible to set an object not to cast shadows.

Casts Shadows: Toggles whether the reference renders shadows. A smart thing to toggle off if the object is transparent or too small to have shadows.

However, the Creation Kit does not have a checkbox for this option in the common data dialog.

Can anyone tell me if I'm just looking for the option in the wrong place? Is object-level shadow control supported by the Creation Kit?

Casts Shadows was available in the Oblivion Construction Set, however it was always greyed out as dynamic shadows were originally planned, but dropped due to hardware and engine issues. My guess is that it's just a leftover in the GECK that they just wrote a description about without realising it was removed for Skyrim. No object in the vanilla game has its shadows turned off, only lights do.

The only place I've seen a "casts shadows" check box is on light references (ie ... placed in world) under the light data tab. And lights with this cleared still appear to cast shadows.
