I find I am truly disappointed with Brink for PC and I suspect the same problems occur on the consoles. Gameplay is the frenetic run and shoot of the Unreal Tournament/Quake 3 style. This type of play makes no sense in real life. If one were to run around like that in combat they would be dead in an instant. I was hoping for a more "modern" if you will single player game like Bad Company2, Wolfenstein, Call of Duty, or Red Faction: Guerrilla. In addition some of the challenges are screwy. When trying to complete the 3 Star Parkour I find myself missing jumps all the time. Since the game movement is supposed to be smart this strikes me as pretty dumb. In addition there are no challenges for soldier - strange? Most of these faults can be corrected in a patch or maybe a DLC (which should be free). If I had known it was going to be a glorified Team Fortress I would not have purchased the game. I hope Demon Forge will not be a fantasy version of the same game.

I was hoping for ... Call of Duty
Get out.
No, seriously, BRINK isn't your damned Call of Duty, and everyone knows that every "modern" FPS copies Call of Duty. The whole damned point of BRINK was to break away from CoD's iron grip on the FPS, and if you can't acknowledge that
and then criticize it, you aren't going to be welcomed.
