Sewers

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 12:11 pm

In most of the towns I have been in, I have come across manhole covers that pop up indicators letting me believe I can go down into the sewer. Usually I am on my way to somewhere else when I see them and ignore them at the time. However, sitting at work with not much to do, I got inspired from another thread to ask about this. Since I don't have the game at work, I get to play vicariously through the forumers that are on today.

So, has anyone been in the Sewers and is there any reason to go down there? Do any quests send you down there? Is it a Ghoulfest?

I scraqed tons of sludge off my boots.

The sewers in NV are a vast network of tunnels that connect most of the Strip and surrounding areas. The Thorn, an underground mutated insect fightclub, is about the only side quest you'll find down there. The central sewer areas are filled with mutated rats and goulls. There's also a unique weapon ( i forget the name) but it's basically a unique looking lead pipe.

There is more rats than Ghouls.

It is kind of a short cut to the Thorn/Mccuran.

Spoiler

If you fellow the quest marker from "You can depend on me" it leads you though it.

There is also an exit near the Eastern Pump Station, given the low level enemies down there, it suppose to be the alternative way to reach Free/West/Northside.
