Anyway, please take a look at my screenshots attached; I'm not sure what's causing this, but if anyone could help it would be very much appreciated! I'll post settings below. FYI I've tried tweaking graphics settings, but have had no success yet.

Nothing wrong with your system, that's all on the game's side. Shadow quality is shockingly poor.

You could try upping the iBlurDeferredShadowMask in your SkyrimPrefs.INI (default is 3), that helps. But there is really nothing you can do about those.

Ah okay, thanks Thomas! I was worried about that...If I "Up the IBlur..." as you mentioned, what is the highest (or suggested) number I should put it to?

Thanks again!!!

32 is as high as you can go, but that will make the shadows look really ugly.

Try 5 or 7 to start.

Iblur just softens the shadows more, so if you like them soft like in Oblivion then higher the better.

Awesome! Thank you two very much!

I think I'll just leave it as is if it's nothing on my end...I tried it but really hate tweaking that kind of stuff unless it really "fixes" the issue, ya know? But honestly thanks so much for taking time to help.

Hopefully the next Nvidia driver or Skyrim patch will hep this out. :)

Andrew

The Line/Wavy shadows is a known issue, especially around fire. Hopefully it is fixed in the next patch.

I also have the 360 version and the shadows have the same issue, maybe it will be fixed in an upcoming patch.
