Hi,

I don't get why weapons can be sheathed but shields remain hanging on the arm.

There's a mod called http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=10451 but the shields are in fact arrows/quivers and no armor, so this mod is only for cosmetic reasons. It shows how a future mod or patch could work.

Really hope there will be a patch that includes shields to be carried on the back when you sheath the weapon. To avoid clipping with quivers simply disable showing quivers on the back when carrying a shield.

I completely agree. Shields should be slung around your back when not in a fighting stance. It would get a bit tiring lugging a shield on your arm all day. I think it would be even cooler for your sword to be sheathed under your shield on your back as well (that's my Zelda love coming out.)

They. also need to fix the dual sword/dagger sheathes. You only have 1 weapon sheathe and the other sword pops up out of nowhere.

Couldn't you block with your weapon sheathed in Oblivion?

I would love that. I always unequip the shield while not in combat because I dislike having it wave around on the arm. Carried on the back would be great.

I've always wondered why they left it the way it is. I don't like the shield waving around when I'm not even in combat. On the back would be great. I don't even care if it just disappears though. That's what it does when I quick select it anyway.

I do it the same way but for a Dovahkiin it ain't smart. ^^
