Early in the game I made the mistake of selling one of my dragon priest masks like a dummy. Now I can't complete the quest for the ninth mask, is there any way of retrieving it without having to go back a couple hundred saves? I tried the hidden chest in dawnstar but got tired of trying after each 48 hour period. Any ideas? I'm know I'm probably out of luck but thought I would see if you all have any insight.

If you're on PC, you can add it back with the console. If not...boy does that svck. You're SOL due to vendors refreshing.

Do you remember which merchant you sold it to? I've heard that essential items like masks and claws will be kept in their inventories.

Otherwise, I don't know what to say to help you...

REL- I've researched it and vendors don't carry anything you may have sold past 24 hours. I was quite interested to learn of the trick, hidden chests but that didn't pan out either.
