I've experienced no game breaking bugs (and hardly any bugs in general) on the PC version. If you have a good enough PC to run the game, I say go for it.

buy it used or off a classifieds website and save yourself some money. I preordered the collectors edition game and strategy guide for around $140 Canadian, and I regret it everyday.... the game is a lot of fun when it's working, but until I can play longer than 30 mins without my game crashing I'm shelving it.

Get it.
If it isn't fun or just not for you then simply return it to the store and get your money back.

So long as you have XBL so you can get the patch, yeah, give it a go.

If you liked F3, then I see no reason you wouldn't like NV. Get the game - tomorrow.

Wait abit on getting the game. Might be safe abit on the PC but the consoles are not. Those that didn't get the bugs and lucky for ya. Those that got the bugs and glitch game can tella ya best to hold off spending the 60 bucks until it is less buggy.

Good choice, but mind sharing that PC's specs and your expectations?

Lets make sure the PC option is the best option for you before you spend the money.

Just as a side note if you're getting the PC version. In barely noticeable fine-print on the back of the box, you will see that the PC version of the game requires Steam to play. Due to Steam's completely immoral customer support practices, this was a deal-breaker for me. Thus, I returned it.

I've played close to 20 hours and have only had it freeze on me once. Other bugs just involve things where the map marker is wrong (once) and where a NPC was missing (once), so I figure that's not bad considering how much fun I've been having.

Which system? That's personal preference. Which controller do you want in your hand. The 360 has first dibs on DLC and the PC has mods, so if that matters to you.

So get out there and start playing!

Looks good for a mix of medium/high settings at up to 1080p.

If you are into over clocking, I'd recommend it on the CPU. If not don't worry about it. I gained 15+ FPS with a 1Ghz OC to my q9550. (OC = 3.83Ghz.) So I like to mention it for those that don't mind OCing. (Plus some people don't realize OCing the CPU will net you FPS. They thing only a GPU OC will do that.)

Since you're going PC and you have decent specs to run it, I'd say hell yes.

You'll get a game that runs better, looks better, and has much more longevity (via mods).

Also, patches seem to come out sooner for the PC than compared to the consoles, so better support overall.

If your PC didn't have the specs, then I would've recommended the PS3 version.
