Hey guys an acquaintance of mine built a computer and is looking to sell it. I currently have a decent computer but not good enough to play skyrim and when I play wow I have to have all the settings on low. He is asking for $350 and here are the specs.

Quad core FX black edition 3.6ghz processor stock. ASUS motherboard AM3+ ready, 4GB of DDR3 ram, ATI radeon 5570 1GB graphics card. 600 watt power supply, 250GB harddrive. running windows 7 ultimate

How well would this computer run skyrim and is it worth the money? Thanks guys.

It will def run Skyrim but don't expect great performance with the HD texture pack enabled with whatever it auto configures you to. Personally I don't even use it and you can see my specs in my sig. The GPU is a bit dated it's not terrible but not great. The main factors seems to be CPU speed and the VRAM that your GPU has. Expect to run the game on High or Medium settings. How much is it? Do you know what brand PSU 600 watts is plenty for that rig but brand def matters as much as it does with a GPU.

$350? If you plan on buying that to play games on, you would want to spend the money to buy a better video card. 250GB HDD is a bit small for today's standards, but you can always upgrade that in the future. The new AMD Bulldozer CPUs arent really that great either. I personally wouldnt buy that system. I would put that $350 to building a new system from scratch.

Derp sorry didn't see that price...def not a bad price but how much wear and tear? It all really depends on how much you have to work with like Starforce said above you can put that towards something way better if you have extra money to spend.
