Im debating which game to get,either Dead Island or Deadspace 2. I want to play both but I can only choose 1 until I get more money.

Dead Island: 60$

Dead Space 2: 30$

Should I get Dead Space 2 and get Dead Island later when the price goes down? Or do you think Dead Island is more fun? I've seen gameplay videos for both and they look equally fun.

Have you played Dead Space 1?

Dead Space 2 is amazingly polished, if you're getting it on PC the graphics are stunning, the story is much better than Dead Island (obviously) but also better than the original Dead Space. Weaponry/Statis powers in Dead Space 2 > melee from Dead Island.

But I guess you wouldn't be on these boards if you didn't like open world gameplay, and Dead Island does that really good. I'd still wait though until it gets a few patches and comes down to the price it's worth ($20).

I also say Dead Space 2. If you haven't played the first one yet, I say pick up both. It will be cheaper than getting Dead Island anyway. Dead Island doesn't seem bad, it just comes off as somewhat average to me.

Then I suggest getting Dead Space 2 and waiting for the price to drop on Dead Island.

Haven't played Dead Island, so I cannot recommend it. But Dead Space 2 was a lackluster compared to the first.
