As an aside, am I the only one in this thread dorky enough to keep less-powerful gear that looks warmer, for when your characters are trekking through the blizzards? lol

No, I do that too. Although Brianna just glares at me when I tell her she should wear her fur armor in the snow (it's the bikini-top type). She also usually wears her mage robes or a dress around town, instead of her armor. She even has a set of work clothes for wood-chopping or crop-picking. Beat that for being dorky.

Okay, so I just had a go at creating a female High Elf character.

I must admit she only looks good in Elven armour. And Elven armour also only looks good on her.

Okay, so I just had a go at creating a female High Elf character.

Okay, that's a pretty sharp high elf. Most high elves I see have insanely over-pronounced facial bone structure. They look like they had some genetic accident in the womb or something. Given that elves are, yes, supposed to be a different race but a genetically compatible race that humans have willingly mated with down the centuries, I find it odd to see so many elves with a facial bone structure that would not exactly get them a lot of humans asking them out on a date.

So while your elf certainly has a slightly sharp facial structure, it looks subtle. Thumbs up. Good job with the character creator.

I actually keep the fur armors (especially on my more WILD characters). But I did manage to get my fur armors to legendary status ~140 armor on all pieces combined(this is with pretty low Light Armor level). Not much, I plan to go a bit higher.

Cheers. I've tried a few more female elves and haven't had much success. To my surprise wood elves are actually shorter than human beings.

That is no surprise at all, for it resembles (or follows) a law of nature - wood creatures are smaller than their colleagues in the plains. Well, I've played Bethesda wood elves since the release of TES-III, but to be fair, I didn't expect the return of the lungers from Vvardenfell after their extinction, caused by the much fitter Rhedd-head elves. Time has changed - people have changed, both in the gamer scene and in the game management.
