hey does anyone know if I plug my xbox into my monitor will print screen take screens of what the monitor is showing or like desktop because skyrim isn't coming from the pc?
Hallo Kuba. Rather than take a snapshot from your monitor, as you do with camera, 'Print Screen' takes a snapshot from what a PC graphics card / system / engine is putting out to the monitor. Connecting the XBox to the monitor will not connect it to the PC graphics system. In short the answer to your question is no.

If you where able to use a video capture card connected to the PC and with The XBox video output connected via that to the PC and had the needed software then you could take snapshots of the XBox video directly on the PC. Using such a capture system would not give you access to the Skyrim console and such, it may give better results for your pictures though. I appologise if this information gives an obvious solution and I do realise that you may not have access to the equipment needed.
I'm limited to camera shots but heres my guys

Those shots are very good - especially seeing as you acknowledge a limitation. See next quote and reply though!
Limited? LOL - Console version I assume.
I say to anyone thinking they are 'limited' to camera shots "Bring 'em on!". These threads are 'show us your character' - so, get the shots as you can and show us your character.

I'm told that when taking camera shots of any game screen, it is best to have your room darkened and I know it is always best to keep the camera as steady as possible - maybe by (safely) resting it on something.
I'm looking forward to seeing more shots - keep up the good work all.

Camera snapshots of your gaming screen may not seem to be the best way to capture an image of your character. Thing is, you have kinda proved that statement wrong.
I would ask anyone put off from posting camera snapshots to take a look at the camera snapshots already submitted here and the tips given about such shots then take thier own camera shots and submit them to one of these threads. Come on - do not be shy!

uh yeah so how about someone go back a page and stroke my ego a little bit you know how long it took to get those shots to look so good? LOOK AT THEM! ITS A PICTURE OF MY TV
Consider your ego stroked! You acknowledged a limitation and submitted some very good shots. I hope you submit more. I do understand how you feel limited but would hope you turn the knowledge of that limitation into a positive and continue taking and submitting shots.
